We minister to family members who have a child in the pediatric ICU at TMH. Spending long periods of time in the waiting room is tough on families, so each month we deliver snack foods, bottles of water, adult Bible-based puzzle books, and children’s Bible-based books.
If you would like to assist with this effort or to contribute items to the baskets, please contact Gail Covan.
One of Timberlane’s community efforts is to serve the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Located near Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House is a “home away from home” for the families of pediatric patients being treated at area hospitals and medical facilities. Once a month Timberlane members deliver a homemade meal and serve it family-style.
Members prepare entrees and the food is then frozen and stored at Timberlane. To assist with this ministry, please contact Cynthia Poole for instructions.
