Small Groups

The goal of Small Groups is to improve our fellowship with one another and The Lord, share life’s burdens, and celebrate our blessings, in relaxed, informal settings.  Small Groups provide opportunities for us to know one another better and to study God’s word together in an environment allowing participative, two-way communication.  In addition, Small Group meetings can serve as a means for members to express benevolence, service, assistance, or prayer needs.  Successful groups typically identify themselves for unique missions which are determined by the group members.  If you are a new Christian, new to Timberlane, or a long-term member, participation in a Small Group is an excellent opportunity for you to get to know others and strengthen your relationship with The Lord.

Everyone is encouraged to sign up for a small group. Each leader will discuss the same lesson so that all are studying the same subject. Generally, groups will meet on the first and third Sunday evenings.
